🎩 Blues Brothers Statue – Stedman, NC 🎩
📍 Location: 175 East 1st Street, Stedman, NC
📍 Blues Brothers Statue Stedman, NC is a quirky roadside tribute that fans of The Blues Brothers won’t want to miss. Located at 175 East 1st Street, these statues were placed by a former mayor who had a deep appreciation for Jake & Elwood. Over the years, a chain-link fence was added, either to thwart vandals or perhaps to stop the Blues Brothers from completing their Mission from God—you decide! I’m going with Mission Prevention! 😆
The statues have held up remarkably well over time, but they could use a little TLC. Still, they’re a fantastic find for any fan of the film or roadside oddities.
💡 Fun Fact: Did you know The Blues Brothers started as a Saturday Night Live sketch before becoming a cult classic film? Their mission in the movie was to save the orphanage where they grew up—but in Stedman, NC, their mission seems to be holding their ground behind a chain-link fence! 😆
