Alaska brings the extreme roadside weird—abandoned igloo hotels, the world’s largest chocolate waterfall, and a town literally called North Pole. Some of these attractions we’ve visited, others are still on our radar. When we’ve been somewhere, the link takes you to our photo page with details and snark. The Hammer Museum – Features a giant hammer and hammer collection.

Juneau

Alaskan Brewing Company – Tours currently suspended, check website for updates.

North Pole

World’s Largest Santa Claus – Former record holder at Santa Claus House.

Palmer

Musk Ox Farm Tour – Educational tours of musk ox facility.

Petersburg

Natural Rock Face – Rock formation near Sumdum Glacier.
