Right At The Light Blog

This is where the weird piles up

The Right at the Light Blog isn’t just for leftovers—it’s for the things we saw, loved, and couldn’t stop talking about… even if they didn’t get their own post. The journal entries are where the big roadside legends and the blink-and-you-miss-it moments live side by side: the 20-foot mascot and the handmade sign behind the dumpster. This page is where we talk about all of it—full sentences, semi-coherent theories, and the stories that make us pull over in the first place.

Sometimes it’s a deep dive into a town with a name like Ding Dong or a mural that wraps around a laundromat. Other times, it’s a quick hit—a photo snapped through the windshield, a note scribbled on a napkin, or a moment that made us laugh so hard we had to pull over. The Right at the Light Blog is where those moments land. It’s the digital glovebox of our journey: a little messy, a little magical, and full of things we didn’t want to forget.

We write about the things that don’t always fit neatly into a gallery or a guide. Maybe it’s a gas station with a surprisingly good donut. Maybe it’s a sculpture that looks like it was built by aliens with a sense of humor. Maybe it’s just a feeling—a town that made us feel like we’d stepped into a postcard from another timeline.
